"One thing the children/ staff mentioned about your visit was that they loved it when you read your stories/ poems to them!  You can never read too many stories to children!
The staff felt having a 'real' author's perspective on writing has had a positive impact on children's attitudes towards writing - especially some reluctant writers. Mentioning how you think of ideas anytime/ any place has made the children think about how to edit and reflect on their creative writing."
